Course Overview
Get ready to take your career to the next level! This course combines two offerings: UT II Limited A-Scan Thickness Measurement training provided by ASNT and Elios AIIM drone training provided by MFE Inspection Solutions, to deliver a comprehensive learning experience that merges traditional ultrasonic testing methods with cutting-edge drone-based inspection technology. The 24-hour UT II Limited portion is based on ASNT Classroom Training Book materials, aligned with the ANSI/ASNT CP-105 Body of Knowledge, and meets SNT-TC-1A recommendations. It provides the theoretical foundation and hands-on lab exercises necessary for certification and practical field application. The Elios AIIM portion introduces students to ultrasonic testing with the advanced Elios 3 drone system, designed for efficient and precise inspections in confined or hazardous spaces. Learners will gain skills in drone operation, real-time data analysis, enhanced mapping, and automated surface preparation, significantly increasing safety and productivity. Together, this course equips UT technicians with the knowledge, methodology, and tools to perform advanced inspections and stay at the forefront of nondestructive testing.
