Course Overview

This one-hour webinar reviews specification interpretation and discusses how to develop internal procedures as required by many industry codes and component manufacturing specifications.

Most NDT professionals are familiar with SNT-TC-1A as a document comprising a series of “should” statements. This program interprets the shalls of ASNT Recommended Practice SNT-TC-1A, based on ASNT’s published materials on the intent of the document.

Upon Completion, Learners Will Be Able To:

  • Determine the requirements, responsibilities, and role of the certification authority.
  • Develop the written practice to meet qualification requirements, which are becoming stricter in the code industry.
  • Conduct personnel qualification, certification, technical performance reviews, and recertification for all NDT certification levels.
