Course Overview
X-ray technology and computed tomography (CT) are widely used in failure analysis and production quality testing, uncovering the most hidden defects. For instance, computed tomography is applied for quality control of complex mixed-material assemblies, such as additively manufactured parts within aerospace, printed circuit boards within electronic devices, or cathodes and anodes of batteries, to mention some of the applications.
The presenters of this webinar are going to provide helpful insights into X-Ray and computed tomography used in different industries, such as aerospace, battery, and electronics.
Nondestructive testing solutions give manufacturers the ability to inspect and measure the most complicated parts. High-resolution 2D X-ray and 3D inspection solutions to the battery and electronics industries, both to the production line and to the research and development lab, so that the safety and integrity of components are granted. Assemblies and components in aerospace and other industries are inspected at the speed of production using non-destructive testing solutions.
Upon Completion, Learners Will Be Able To:
- Better understand X-ray and CT technology
- Learn more about X-ray and CT in aerospace/additive
- Understand the applications of X-ray and CT in battery and electronics inspection
- Identify digital play within NDT
