Course description

Developed and produced by ASNT NDT Classroom, the Radiographic Image Interpretation course is based on the body of knowledge developed by The American Society for Nondestructive Testing. It includes an extensive review of the fundamentals of Radiographic Testing, the types and nature of discontinuities, review of real-world radiographic images, and an overview of some of the most widely used codes. The course is designed to prepare a student with all the essentials needed for image interpretation. It is not a substitute for the experience which must also be accomplished by the student under the guidance of a qualified image interpreter.

The course includes periodic quizzes strategically placed throughout the program, and a comprehensive final examination which must be successfully passed in order to qualify for the course completion certificate.
