Course Overview

In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, the ASNT Foundation and the American Welding Society (AWS), in collaboration with Jobs for the Future (JFF) and Safal Partners, are hosting a free, one-hour webinar to discuss the impact of apprenticeships on skilled trades and the nondestructive testing (NDT) profession.

  • The newly approved NDT National Guidelines were developed by the ASNT Foundation.
  • Resources from USDOL, including Apprenticeship.gov, funding options, and support for implementing your own apprenticeship program.

  • Insight into structured, hands-on training programs and their impact on career growth and developing talent pipelines.
  • Guidance on launching NDT apprenticeship programs, covering national guideline standards and available technical assistance.
  • The role of Centers of Excellence and intermediaries like JFF and Safal Partners in promoting diversity and expanding apprenticeships.
