Infrastructure in the U.S. and around the world is aging. Bridge closures and failures are common occurrences and ever increasing. Advancements in Nondestructive Testing technologies and data analysis are beginning to make a dent in the backlog of ailing structures. Funding for infrastructure has opened some doors to incorporating more NDT into bridge management plans. This webinar will review the different NDT technologies being used in infrastructure inspection, how the data is being integrated and analyzed, and what the future might hold for the industry. Top industry experts will present.

After attending this presentation, attendees will be able to:

  • Explain the challenges faced during inspections in the bridge industry.
  • Identify and evaluate various Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods for bridges, and determine the suitability of each method for specific bridge elements.
  • Understand the concept of data fusion and its application in bridge maintenance, repair, and management to obtain actionable information.
